Marketing wasn't in the job description

Reader, you got into this for the kids and the staff.

The moment a shy camper finally finds their people.

The closing-day feeling when families linger because they don't want to leave.

The staff member who figures out who they are over the summer.

Marketing was not what drew you to this work. For a lot of directors, it's the part that sits in a pile.

The newsletter three weeks late. The registration page that hasn't been updated since 2025 (I saw one last week 🤦🏻‍♂️). The sense that you should be doing more, but you don't know where to start.

I built something for that exact feeling. Camp Marketing Relief is a year-long group cohort. Two hours a month. A small group of directors who know what it's like to run a camp. Every template and resource I've built on camp marketing, included. The spring cohort ran five sessions together.

We're picking back up September 16th. Registration is open through October 15th.

If you want to be in the room through May, this is the window.

The guarantee: register more campers next season than this one. If you don't, you get your money back.

Take good care,

Travis
